Spiraea x bumalda ‘Froebelii’
This variety of Spirea has slender upward reaching branches that fill into a dense upright rounded shape. The new foliage emerges with reddish tint in spring and turns to bronzy blue-green in summer. Dense clusters of bright red-pink flowers form in early summer and deadheading can promote continuous fresh flower heads all season long. Plant will tolerate light shade and many different soil types. Hardy and vigorous growing.
